On my most recent visit, was very pleased to see that this O'Charleys location has gone totally smoke free. This is a fairly typical family casual dining restaurant with reasonable prices and friendly service. They've also upgraded their side house salad with a spring mix/ baby greens instead of the sad iceberg concoction that is usually standard. I had a minor issue the last time I was there, but when I let the server know, she immediately apologized and send the manager over who made more than adequate restitution so great customer service. My usual order there is the chicken tender dinner with a side salad and fries. The chicken tenders are definitely the best thing on the menu here as far as I'm concerned--crisp breading, tender chicken and great honey mustard dipping sauce. The fries can be extremely salty. The whole meal probably exceeds your fat and salt requirements for an entire day, but it's a tasty calorie splurge on occasion. This is definitely a family restaurant--be prepared to be surrounded by the noise and chaos that goes with young kids. The positive is that if you're bringing one or more of your own, nobody should shoot you any dirty looks!

Dear Nate the manager tonight 8/1. You probably should have done something about the loud group that was annoying half then patrons in your restaurant. It is your responsibility when a group is making a lot of noise and affecting many other people you have to be a manager and fix it. The good was good and Erin our server was excellent and patient with our very old parents. Maybe Erin should be the manager, I sure she would do a better job at resolving problems.

Carry out order and still had to wait 20 after the time I was told it would be done. Really!

Hey YELP why do to have a check-in when O'Charleys doesn't have reservations! They didn't know what we are talking about when we arrived, so we had to wait for a table!

Wow! This place has come a long way! I am normally not a fan of large chain restaurants but my girlfriend and I had a lovely meal. I order the cedar plank salmon and it was one of the best I have had in many years. It was cooked a perfect medium and had a wonderful smokey flavor. The seasoning they use was a perfect compliment to the fish. We had fried pickles and hush puppies and they were very nice. My girlfriend only had appetizers so I only have my meal to review but I will certainly be back again for that salmon! Lastly, the manager was making table rounds and was very hospitable and our sever was very personable. Since it was "Free Pie Wednesday" the place was busy but the service was quick and the free pie was a nice delicious treat. If we go again soon and get the same quality service and properly prepared meals then I will be happy to upgrade this review to 5 stars.

Do not write O'Charley's even if you have had an issue with them. They will send you an already composed email and will never speak to you again. I will not ever go back to this chain again.. Below is what I sent them.. Hello, I attended the Cold Spring, KY location and I have never had a worse experience dining in my life. There were 6 of us crammed into a small table, which was not a good start. I didn't get my drink order for 20 minutes. We then ordered, and my mom didn't get her food with the rest of us. Turns out the order was never put in by our waitress DONNA. She also messed up my sister's salad order and she got it while eating her entree. The checks were the worst part. Everyone but my parents were on separate checks. Pretty simple right? Well no one got a correct check back. My order was on my parents' bill. Two other checks were combined although we were clear they were to be separate. My mother opted to pay for my meal. DONNA disappeared for at least 20 minutes with my mother's credit card. She claimed there was a problem with the machine. Then she came back and said the bill went missing and took the rest of our checks. The amounts on the checks were not what went through our bank accounts as we paid for other people's meals at the table. Everyone's was mixed up. We consulted the manager on duty which I can't remember his name (about 50 or so with a mustache) who was rude and didn't seem to help the situation. He said the check missing is on the house. Everyone else has to pay. He was rude in his delivery and said DONNA was back working on the checks, but DONNA kept saying the checks weren't going through right and she needed a manager. The manager was with us so it didn't make sense. None of us paid for the right bill so we have all been upset about our experience and I don't plan on my family going back to a place run like this.

I am very pleased with this location. It has become a regular visit for the wife and I. We usually visit the bar during happy hour (a daily thing, even Saturdays) for half price draughts and appetizers. We can always walk out of there full and happy for very little cost.

Late Sunday night dinner. Seated quickly in our choice non-smoking. Server David was on us for a drink order in just a few minutes. He also answered my questions and talked about specials. Patty ordered an appetizer that was sold out. David made some great follow suggestions. Came back for a dinner order and took time to make sure he understood what we wanted. Nacho cheese chips and salsa came out in a few minutes with O'Charley's signature bread. Not so signature anymore. We ordered from the 2 entrees for $14.99 menu Steak Mushrooms, fried tomatos and Broccli for me. Chicken tenders and Saratoga chips for wifey. Both were very tasty and delivered in a timely manner. Let me take a minute to say our Server David did a great job. He should train servers. He was VERY VERY attentive in a soft spoken way with out being chatty and over bearing. He did a great job. A real Servers server. He told us about the thirty cent desert and helped us with the coupons. The only down side to the whole experience was the $2.39 for my wifes diet cola I guess that included the desert! We tipped on what the total check should have been David earned and more importantly deserved it. We'll be back.
